Our Story
SILIFAB Limited was founded with a vision to establish Africa's first world-class semiconductor foundry. Recognising the continent's growing electronics market and the strategic importance of semiconductor technology, SILIFAB is building capabilities that will reduce Africa's dependence on imported chips and create local innovation hubs.
Inspired by the manufacturing excellence of TSMC, the flexible foundry model of GlobalFoundries, and the innovation leadership of Intel, SILIFAB combines international best practices with deep understanding of African market needs.
Our journey began with the establishment of state-of-the-art fabrication facilities, equipped with advanced process technologies ranging from 98nm to our planned 12nm node. We're not just manufacturing chips—we're building Africa's semiconductor ecosystem.
