About Silifab
Powering Africa's Future Through Silicon Innovation. A high-technology company pioneering semiconductor fabrication and silicon wafer production.

Our Story
Silifab is a high-technology company established to pioneer semiconductor fabrication, silicon wafer production, and microelectronics innovation within Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.
As the continent's first indigenous silicon and semiconductor manufacturing company, Silifab is building the foundation for Africa's self-reliance in advanced technology bridging the gap between raw material resources, local talent, and industrial transformation.
Our mission is to empower Africa's digital and industrial future through localised manufacturing, advanced research, and global-standard innovation in semiconductors and electronic systems.

Vision
To become Africa's foremost semiconductor and silicon fabrication company, enabling local innovation, manufacturing, and export of world-class microelectronic components.

Mission
To design, manufacture, and commercialize high-quality semiconductors, silicon wafers, and electronic systems that drive industrial growth, digital transformation, and sustainable technology in Africa.
Core Objectives
Silifab Technologies Limited was founded to achieve the following key objectives:

1. Semiconductor Manufacturing
To carry on the business of manufacturing semiconductors, microelectronics, and electro-mechanical components, including design, chip development, and production of advanced electronic devices and equipment.

2. Electronic Systems & Programmable Devices
To manufacture, import, and export programmable electronics such as timers, photocells, switches, converters, power supplies, digital meters, and smart controllers used in industrial and consumer applications.

3. Foundry & Fabrication Operations
To establish and operate semiconductor foundries and fabrication (fab) plants, enabling large-scale chip production and material processing within Nigeria.

4. Silicon Wafer Production
To manufacture silicon wafers and ingots, the foundational materials used in global semiconductor production.

5. Raw Material Supply
To supply and trade semiconductor-grade materials, including silicon, germanium, and gallium arsenide, essential to the manufacture of microelectronics and integrated circuits.

6. Industrial Silica Processing
To produce and distribute industrial silica sand (silicon dioxide) for use in semiconductor manufacturing and other industrial applications.

7. Technological Device Manufacturing
To engage in the production of technological devices and consumer electronics such as smartphones, computers, speakers, cameras, smart watches, and IoT-based systems.

8. Research and Development (R&D)
To promote innovation through R&D partnerships, patents, and advanced engineering programs that enhance local content and skills in semiconductor technology.

9. Capital Development
To raise, manage, and deploy capital in ways that support manufacturing expansion, R&D, and technological growth, including through local and foreign partnerships.

10. Ancillary Activities
To undertake all actions incidental or conducive to the achievement of the above objectives.
